Abstract:Seafloor observatory network has been an important data acquisition platform in marine scientific research. This pager provides a brief introduction to the history of seafloor observatory network system, followed by detailed description of the progress from the different countries round the world on seafloor cable observatory network systems. It also explores future development of the seafloor observatory network with a discussion on the key technologies and preliminary solutions employed in seafloor observatory network system.
